2 Mile Treadmill Run in 12:55

After Wednesday's long run, I wanted to take a few days off to recover, then start back up with a quick, short run. Saturday was the perfect opportunity to get back on the treadmill, listen to some tunes, and try to hammer out a 2 mile run. I ended up finishing the 2 mile run in 12:55.

11 Mile Treamill Run in 1:21:04

I was working from home today, so in lieu of eating lunch I decided to jump on the treadmill downstairs and go for a really long run. I actually wanted to go further than 11 miles, but I started to cramp up pretty badly at around 10.7 miles. Muscle cramping from long distance running seems to be a chronic problem for me regardless of what I do, eat, or drink to try and combat the problem. I was still satisfied with getting in such a long run and feeling not all that bad from it. This was definitely my longest run since the Boston Marathon last April. I ended up finishing the 11 mile run in 1:21:04 for an average pace of 7:21/mile.
