Chest Workout
A friday afternoon gym workout is a rarity for me, but I was able to get it in before heading over to Sara's house tonight. I did a full suite of chest exercises, both on free weights and machines before finishing off with 100 crunches. Keepin at it.

4 Mile Run - North End to Charlestown & Back
Got out the door this evening as the sun was setting for a planned 4 mile run from the North End, into Charlestown and back. I programmed the Nike + Ipod for 4 miles and began my trek through the North End towards the bridge. I stretched near the good ol' Italian bocce courts then ran across the bridge, into Charlestown, along the water, past the USS Constitution, past the Naval Base, around the new high rise construction down on 5th st, before looping back. The run is here: http://tinyurl.com/hhqvo. I finished the 4.01 mile run in 31:56 for an average pace of 7:57 per mile with 540 calories.

Shoulder Workout
Gym'd it at lunch-time to start off the week. Did standing shoulder raises 20-15-10-5, then sitting overhead raises 45-40-35, then sitting bench assisted bar with 110-100-90. Also did lat pulldowns using the close grip bar of 90-80-70, then the same with long bar of 90-80-70. Finished off plate raises of 45-35-25.
